Escort 8500 X50 Frequently Asked Questions
Q: What is the difference between the Red and
Blue display on the Escort X50?
A: The only difference between the red and blue Escort x50 is
the color of the display and the price.
Q: If the only difference is the color, then
why the price difference?
A: The Blue display Escort X50 is more expensive because the
blue LED's used to make the blue display screen on the Escort X50
are simply more expensive to manufacture. This is probably because
the blue LED's are mass produced on a much lower volume than the
red LED's. Anytime something is mass produced on a higher level,
such as the Red LED's, the price goes down. If most electronics
items started switching to Blue LED displays, the volume would go
up and the price would eventually come down.
Q: Is there any shipping charges if I purchase
an Escort radar detector?
A: We offer UPS shipping that starts at $5 for ground, $10 for
3 day, $12 for 2 day, and $25 for next day shipping.

radar detector from this site?

band radar, it is so fast it is undetectable by most detectors.

POP radar detection.

come out with a new radar?

use today. However, should something new be introduced to the market,
the Escort X50 is completely upgradeable.
