9500i can also alert you to Speed Traps, Red Light
Cameras, Speed Cameras, School Zones, or anywhere
else you program it's GPS computer to mark as an
alert area.
You don't always remember where these areas are
but now your radar detector can. Simply use the
9500i's Mark Location feature to store a specific
location in memory and the next time you approach
this area, the Escort 9500i will give you advanced
warning to the possible danger.
This specific location reminder could keep you from
being ambushed by instant-on radar or laser the
next time you approach. This alert will come approximately
1 mile before you reach the marked area when traveling
at 50 mph or more and 1/2 mile before the marked
area when traveling at less than 50 mph.

on the vehicle speed. At interstate speeds, all radar bands are
operating at full sensitivity, providing the best possible performance.
