Q: What is the BAC limit for driving?
A: The limit for BAC (Blood Alcohol
Concentration) allowable while driving has been established at
less than 0.08% BAC for almost all regions of the United States.
Q: Can I drive after drinking if BAC is
less than 0.08%?
A: No, we don't recommend driving after
drinking. There is NO "safe" amount of alcohol to drink before
driving.
Q: What is calibration?
A: All breathalyzers or alcohol testers require
routine checkups on the functionality of alcohol sensors to
prevent inaccurate readings. There are some alcohol
breathalyzers on the market that are designed so they are unable
to be calibrated. These breathalyzers may put your life and the
lives of your loved ones at risk. Make sure you buy reliable,
accurate, personal breathalyzers such as those provided here on
this website.
Q: Can the Alcomate Premium be
Calibrated?
A: The Alcomate Premium is
a one-of-a-kind device that uses patent-pending PRISM
(Pre-calibrated Replaceable

Technology. With PRISM technology, the Alcomate Premium never
needs calibration. This unique technology allows anyone to
simply replace the internal sensor without having to send it in
for calibration. This is something anyone can do in just a few
seconds.
Q: How do I install the replaceable sensor?
A:
Simply snap open the rear PRISM cover, pull out the old sensor,
put in a new one and close the cover. It's that simple. The
whole process will take less than 30 seconds.
Q: How often do I need to replace the sensor?
A:
The manufacturer recommends you replace the sensor every 300
uses. The Alcomate Premium has a built in counter that will
notify you when you have reached 300 uses. Although you can
continue to use your Premium breathalyzer without changing the
sensor, it is recommended that you change it after 300 uses to
ensure your breathalyzer is working perfectly.
Q: Is there any shipping charges if I

A: We offer UPS shipping that starts with FREE UPS ground,
$5 for 3 day, $7 for 2 day, and $20 for next day shipping.
